Luke 22:1  KJV  "Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover."

Interpretation based on the following study:  To make to come near, reconciled to draw close to God, connected by bonds of intimacy.  Moreover, the Son, in festive holy day, joined us in union of the closest most intimate devotion.  Unfolding to teach God's deliverance from enslavement, sacrificing Himself to become our substitute and representative.  He shone forth, freeing and redeeming us from bondage.  Showing forth the meaning of His Passover, exempting us by taking our place, to become the Passover Sacrifice.  He liberated us to know Him in relationship and communion with Him.
